Calculating Number of MG's of Iodine and Iodide per Drop of LUGOL'S 2%: Each VERTICAL "metric" drop (= 1/20 ml) is approximately 1.0 mg of iodine and 2.0 mg of potassium iodide. The Iodide portion of Potassium Iodide is about 75% so that is 1.5 mg. Therefore the total Iodine plus Iodide is 1.0 + 1.5 = 2.5 mg and 2 drops is about 5.0 mg's of iodine/iodide (2.0 mg iodine, 3.0 mg iodide). Compared to iodine and potassium iodide tablets, J.CROW'S® Lugol's Solution offers big savings.

Approximately 1200 vertical drops per 2 oz. container. To use as a water purifier add 3-6 drops per liter of water.

Subscriber to Dr. Ken Berry and he recommends taking iodine for health and recommends this brand. So far no issues I’ve noticed and I feel like I’m on my way to or already maintaining great health with the addition of daily supplementation of iodine. I want to prevent many of the diseases out there that affects our glands so iodine for sure will help in my goals. Only slight concern for me at first was I’m diagnosed with shellfish allergy and been told all my life to avoid them since they contain iodine. So it does give me a very slight reaction in my throat immediately after taking a dose, but not enough to cause me to worry compared to eating shellfish. Overall I’m happy with results.

Happy with product

It’s nice to use a product that is so well used, reviewed and spoken about by so many who have benefited from it. Grateful it’s supporting my body by clearing toxins and supplementing. I suggest starting with one drop and letting the body adapt. I did have a strong detox reaction and so give myself days off for the body to adjust.
